Meet Jennifer Culley, LCSW-R

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Trauma-Informed Family Specialist

Serving Putnam County and surrounding areas for over 25 years.

With over three decades of clinical and supervisory experience, I specialize in helping families work through emotionally intense and legally complex circumstances. My practice is centered around trauma-informed, child-focused interventions that support reunification, enhance co-parenting, and promote long-term emotional resilience.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a dual-degree Bachelor’s in Psychology and Sociology from Skidmore College. I am licensed in New York as an LCSW-R and a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).

Throughout my career, I’ve served families in a wide range of settings—from residential treatment programs and court-ordered services to private outpatient therapy. My clinical specialties include:

  • Reunification therapy

  • Therapeutic supervised visitation

  • Parent coordination

  • High-conflict family dynamics

  • Individual therapy for adults and children

  • Family systems therapy

My Approach

My work is rooted in the belief that families can heal, even in the most challenging circumstances. I blend evidence-based strategies with compassion and neutrality, using trauma-informed techniques and developmentally appropriate tools to support children and adults alike.

In court-involved cases, I maintain a child-centered, nonjudgmental stance, prioritizing safety, trust, and emotional clarity in every interaction. I am also trained in successful co-parenting interventions and offer specialized services designed to meet both legal and emotional needs.
